A new STAN Original series, GNOMES is a comedy-horror for audiences of all sizes.

Best described as Gremlins meets Hot Fuzz, GNOMES is a returnable, genre-bending dramedy that combines laugh-out-loud comedy with spine-tingling horror.

The series stars Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) and Megan Smart (Class of ’07), alongside a stellar ensemble of well-known Australian talent. Currently in post-production, GNOMES is set to premiere in 2026.

UNIVERSITY CRIME SERIES

In other big news, Screen invaders has partnered with Fremantle Australia and Boat Rocker, Scripted (Orphan Black) for Carmady, a new detective, crime series set at University.

The show has been co-created by Andrew Savva, Joel Kohn and Paul Jenner, with Jenner set to pen the pilot script. Sian Davies is also attached as set-up director and EP.
